Susanna Capaccio
Italian, with over 20 years of experience in shore excursions and a lifelong passion for travel. She spent more than 10 years onboard Cunard ships, completing over 10 world cruises and travelling extensively around the globe, gaining a strong, hands‑on understanding of destinations from a shipboard perspective.
Maria Tauschke
Maria Tauschke is the Head of Shore Operations at TUI Cruises, where she leads a team of more than 25 specialists and is responsible for the strategic and operational management of all destination-related processes for the Mein Schiff fleet.
Abigail Crossley
Abby brings more than twenty years of expertise in destination management and strategic sourcing within the cruise industry. In Abby's current role as Director, Global Strategic Sourcing, Onboard Revenue at Carnival Corporation, she oversee the procurement of shore experiences, overland activities, and pre/post Cruisetour services across the Carnival brands.
Hugues Lamy
Graduated from the Merchant Navy Academy of Marseille Hugues Lamy has joined the French cruise line Paquet in 1987. Over the last 35 years he has been in charge for Itineraries and Port Operations for number of cruise lines of which Costa Cruises, Renaissance Cruises, Silversea Cruises, V.Ships, Scenic Group and Swan Hellenic Cruises operating cruise ships in all segments of the cruise industry and in all destinations worldwide.
Chris Coates
With more than four decades of experience in the cruise industry, Chris has held C-suite and senior leadership roles concentrating on commercial and distribution strategies, revenue optimization, fleet deployment, and itinerary development across global markets primarily in the UK and also Australia, France, and Germany.
Nicolai Skogland
Nicolai Skogland currently serves as Viking’s Executive Director of Port Operations and Government Relations. With more than 25 years of cruise industry experience Nicolai joined Viking in 2015 shortly before the company’s launch of its first oceangoing cruise ship, VIKING STAR. Since then Viking’s oceangoing fleet has grown to fourteen ship with Nicolai overseeing port operations, fuel and energy procurement and government relations for the group’s oceangoing ships.

JON OLAV STEDJE
Jon Olav has over 15 years of experience in sustainability within the cruise and travel industry. At MSC Cruises, he contributes to the company’s sustainability strategy, including integrated destination governance and broader collaboration among ports, local authorities, and key stakeholders to support well-coordinated and responsible destination management.
INGA HLÍN PÁLSDÓTTIR
Inga Hlín Pálsdóttir has, for the last three years, been spearheading the creation of a new destination management organisation from scratch, built on principles of sustainability, stakeholder collaboration, and long-term value. She leads the destination strategy for the Greater Reykjavík Area and is the driving force behind Tiptoe Reykjavík, Visit Reykjavík’s first-of-its-kind platform that uses behavioural design to guide travellers toward conscious, community-minded exploration.
EVA-BRITT KORNFELDT
Eva-Britt Kornfeldt leads destination-based cruise collaboration in both Oslo and Svalbard, working at the intersection of urban and Arctic cruise operations. Through Oslo Cruise Partners and Svalbard Cruise Forum, she coordinates cooperation between authorities, ports and cruise operators on destination management, sustainability and operational alignment.

As a seasoned leader in the cruise industry, Crystal brings over 32 years of destination experience into planning deployments and itineraries for Seabourn’s fleet of luxury cruise and expedition vessels.
SANDRA (SANDI) WEIR
Sandi brings over 25 years of valuable experience to the vibrant tourism and hospitality industry, with a specialized focus on the cruise sector for the past 20 years. During her tenure with Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, she has led NCL’s shoreside operations in Hawaii, spearheaded many business development initiatives, and held a key leadership position in Revenue Management.
ALESSANDRO CAROLLO
Alessandro worked for international port and shipping agencies since 2000 before landing at Royal Caribbean Group’s port operations in 2014, where he assumed increasing responsibilities, ultimately as Director of Port Services, EMEA.
NIAMH MCCARTHY
Niamh started her career in Irish tourism over 30 years ago. That career has included working at sea and now being Managing Director of the leading Irish incoming tour operator for the visiting cruise lines to the island of Ireland.
ROBERT DE BRUIN
Born and raised in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, he completed a Technical and Nautical Degree from the Rotterdam Nautical College before joining Holland America Line, sailing as both a deck and safety officer for six years.
