ALESSANDRO CAROLLO

Associate Vice President, Government Relations Southern Europe, MEA, Royal Caribbean Group

Alessandro worked for international port and shipping agencies since 2000 before landing at Royal Caribbean Group’s port operations in 2014, where he assumed increasing responsibilities, ultimately as Director of Port Services, EMEA. As of October 2021, in his current position he is responsible for engaging with governments, local authorities and institutional stakeholders on policies and key initiatives focused on maritime, public health, sustainability, and destination management matters. 

Alessandro holds a degree in political science and international relations. He has been Chair of the CLIA Europe Ports and Destinations committee from Sept 2021 to January 2024.
