Jonathan Hawkings

Jonathan Hawkings joined Royal Caribbean Group in March 2022. As Senior Director, Government Relations UK & Nordics, Jonathan is the primary interface between the company and local and national politicians, regulators, trade associations and legislative bodies. He is responsible for advocacy and engagement on public policy issues in the UK & Ireland and Nordic region.

Jonathan has over 18 years of experience in policy and public affairs. He has worked at high profile trade associations, most recently as Director of Policy at ADS, representing the UK's aerospace, defense, security and space industry. Prior to that he worked for SMMT, the UK’s trade body for the automotive industry and for the UK’s employer’s association CBI in Brussels on EU policy and legislative affairs. Jonathan graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in European and International Studies and holds a post-graduate Diploma in Public Affairs and Political Communication from the Charted Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).
