Luca Malusa

I am currently serving as Associate Manager, Port Operations at MSC Cruises, where I am part of a team responsible for managing the global port operations of the company’s vessels. Prior to this role, I spent the last ten years working on board navy, cargo, and cruise vessels, attaining the rank of First Officer. I spent most of my maritime career with MSC Cruises, where I had the opportunity to witness the company’s remarkable and rapid growth firsthand.

Alongside my passion for the sea, I developed a strong interest in international relations and, while working at sea, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Diplomatic Science and International Relations from the University of Bologna. I am currently enrolled in a Master of Science in Shipping and, outside work and study commitments, I enjoy spending part of my weekends sailing.
