Gísli Jóhann Hallsson

Gísli Jóhann Hallsson is the Harbour Master of Faxaports and is responsible for Harbour service - pilotage, tugboats and line handling etc. Gísli Jóhann began his career as a Line handler at the Port of Reykjavík in 1989 and after graduating from the Navigational School 1999 he sailed for few years as an officer on container vessels. In 2004 he started as a permanent employer at the Port of Reykjavík as a Pilot and a tugboat Captain. In 2009 he was promoted as a Harbour Master of Faxaports. Gísli is a former board member in Cruise Iceland and is a Council member of Cruise Europe.
